Thesis

Look with your hands, not with your eyes. Vision has become the most important sense within contemporary culture, yet it is only one way in which the human perceives their surroundings. Physically engaging the built environment, by means of a tactile approach, allows for an individual to develop a richer understanding of that environment through the direct connection of their hand.  Manipulative architecture provides the blank canvas on which individuals can create, and then reflect upon their involvement with the fabrication and tailoring of space.

day and I need some sleep to continue.....had a wonderful

time at StormKing....definitely was a good relief from this

past week and the creativity levels are back up.  I'm really

excited to begin this exploration and think its what I've

been searching for this semester.
