FAMILY:
the reason for which I live, it has stemmed from a
collection of memories and lessons from all the
people that care so much. they have watched
over me and seen my development as an individual
and as I reflect a rush of memories comes forth,
from all the gatherings, to the laughter, which in
most cases if at the Owen dinner table ends with
people in hysteria and tears rolling down their
faces. it's these moments that keep us together
and for which I love them all. it has also been an
amazing experience watching my younger cousins
develop and grow, as I feel like their parents did
when I was growing up. as for my parents, they
have given me a life I could have only dreamed of
as a child and allowed me to pursue all the
opportunities that have been presented and for
this I thank them dearly.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
[just another way of saying sports] I cannot function
unless I'm extremely active all year round. I usually
have tons of energy [except after intense days of
rigorous study] and this is the best outlet for me.
the ability to take out my aggression and have
freedom does wonders after long stressful days.
typically I'll jump on my bike and head out of the
city to get away from all the hype and just enjoy
being outdoors. it lets me forget about my woes
and clearly think, later on allowing me to be more
productive with my work and think critically. soon
enough it'll be winter and I'll be back on the now
ripping around the mountains of vermont.
HUMOR:
I have always been one to laugh and think my world
would be quite boring if I didn't. it definitely has
stemmed from my father, trickling down to my
brother and myself. though his humor at times is
only funny to him [as my brother and I always give
him crap for the bad jokes, usually in mockery] he
has shown us that life is too short to take everything
so seriously and you might as well laugh along the
way. this has been imbibed in me [definitely using
that word in my next crit] and will continue to be a
part of my daily life because this life is just too
funny to be serious all the time.
